DESCRIPTION: Bella is a 6-year-old collie mix who has been with us for almost 5 years. She has completed multiple classes at Gentle Touch Pet Training, including freestyle, rally, and K9 Nosework. Bella recently competed in her first K9 Nosework trial. She is fully housebroken, crate-trained, and accustomed to indoor life.

HEALTH/GROOMING: Bella has a unique coat that seems to just let water roll off her back. As a result, she is very easy to keep mud-free, a definite perk in the PNW! She eats a high-quality diet, so her coat is healthy and shiny and does not give off the oily "dog feel" that many people associate with petting a dog. She is bathed at home and is regularly brushed to cut down on shedding. Bella is a spayed female who receives regular wellness checks to ensure she is healthy and maintains immunity to disease.

ACTIVITIES: Bella is a sweet-natured people dog who loves to greet strangers and have them admire her. She enjoys showing off her tricks to people and is as happy sitting at your feet (or on your lap, if you so choose!) while you work as she is doing her job of making sure the cat stays off the kitchen counters and doesn't escape the back door. Bella is also content to sleep the day away while we are at work, which means she is ready for a walk or training session when we get home. She loves to play with her toys, focusing her natural curiosity and playfulness into tug games and puzzles.
