We are looking for a place to call home as we start our new adventure in the Pacific Northwest. We have lived in San Luis Obispo, CA for twenty years and have owned our own home for much of that time. We realize it is difficult to find a rental that allows pets, so we intend to do everything we can to prove pet owners can make excellent tenants.
As homeowners, we know both how important your investment is to you and how important regular maintenance and upkeep is to home value. As landlords, we understand how concerned you might be about potential tenants. You wonder whether they will appreciate your property as much as you do and whether they'll bother your neighbors with whom you have a good relationship. Let us assure you that we want a nice place to live as much as you do, and we'll do the work to make sure it stays that way! Not only that, but we enjoy a good relationship with our current neighbors and hope to develop good relationships with our new neighbors.
We are looking for a home for us and our four-legged family members: Roscoe, Bella, and Scout. Roscoe & Bella are well-behaved, housebroken, crate-trained, medium-sized dogs. Scout is an indoor-only cat with excellent litter box habits.
We have spent time training our dogs so that they will truly enjoy their crates. They are never left to roam unsupervised for their own safety, which also should reassure any landlord that they will not be left to destroy property.
Scout, the cat, is also confined for her own safety when we are not home, which again should reassure any landlord that she will not be left to destroy carpets or curtains!
We believe the maxim "a tired dog is a good dog," and we provide our dogs with adequate physical and mental exercise to keep them content and quiet. Neither dog is ever left in the yard to be a nuisance barker. We also provide them with plenty of mental stimulation to prevent digging and chewing.
As dog guardians, we always try to act responsibly. Not only have we taken multiple classes on dog behavior and training, but we keep up with the latest information about dog health, training, and behavior. All the animals are effectively immunized against rabies and other common diseases, and they are on a program of flea and heartworm control. We are as concerned as you are about keeping fleas out of the home. We are certain you will find Roscoe, Bella, and Scout to be exemplary pet tenants.
